A Scottish native, Francis moved to the United States in 2010, and started his career as a journalist- with his work featured on NBC, TYT, Huffington Post and many others. In 2017, alongside Youtube TV, Francis produced an award winning documentary More Than A Refugee. In 2022, Francis completed his first short film Post No Bills, that is set to hit the festival circuit in the fall. Francis co-founded m8 productions on the premise of finding stories that will help ‘m8 a difference’. Akin to his attitude in the journalistic world, Francis believes a good story tells itself, and comes in all forms: documentary, short film, feature length.
